| This weeks department drill consisted of air pack training. South Salem firefighters loaded into the apparatus and headed to the Lewisboro Town Park. Lengths of hose were stretched through and around the two jungle gyms, setting up scenarios where firefighters would be tested with orientation, low profile maneuvers and team work. Once the courses were set up, firefighters blacked out their face pieces and headed through.
The South Salem Fire Department conducts a full department drill every Monday. If you are interested in joining, please stop by for an application. |
