| On Monday, February 28th, the new Tanker 2 made its first appearance at a department drill. South Salem firefighters headed to the Lewisboro Town Park to train on the new Tanker 2 as well as practice stretching hose lines and drafting.
Engine 168 headed to the dry hydrant, while Engine 167 dropped a supply line that was picked up and fed by the new Tanker 2. The soon to be retired Tanker 2 ran the shuttle. Many of the senior members pumped with the new tanker and familiarized themselves with the set up while the probationary members worked the hoses.
