On Monday evening, June 14th, firefighters gathered at headquarters to practice training with our newly acquired Paratech struts. With the use of a donated vehicle, firefighters used the struts to stabilize the simulated rolled over vehicle. Vehicle stabilization is an important job on a fire scene to both provide for the safety of firefighters working on extricating the patient and to also ensure no further harm is done to the patient.
