| On Monday, March 16th, members of the South Salem Fire Department were invited to train alongside multiple agencies at the Vista Fire Department. Westchester County DES State Fire Instructors and Vista Fire Department officers organized a multi-station extrication drill covering victim extrication, cribbing, vehicle stabilization, and victim protection during car fires.
This training is part of an ongoing effort by County Instructors to bring high-level instruction directly to local firehouses, allowing more departments to benefit from improved techniques and best practices. We are grateful to the Vista Fire Department and the County Instructors for creating this opportunity to train alongside our neighboring departments and continue sharpening our skills. |
