Battalion 13 Comes Together for Hybrid Vehicle Training

The South Salem Fire Department played host to the six departments of Battalion 13, Monday night, as Vista Fire Dept. Chief Bill Dingee taught the state hybrid vehicle course. Chief Dingee is a NY State fire instructor for the Westchester County Department of Emergency Services as well as both a volunteer and career fire chief. Over one hundred fire fighters attended the evening class which consisted of classroom training, an evaluation test, and the chance to review some of what was learned on supplied vehicles.
