National Fire Prevention Week 2024 runs from Sunday, October 6th through Saturday, October 12th.  The Department will be running fire prevention activities throughout the week which will kick off with our annual Open House on Saturday, October 5th from 11:00am to 3:00pm. There will be lots to see and do for the public including:

- Fire apparatus tours and live demonstrations
-  All new 45 foot Fire Truck obstacle bounce house
- Bedford Fire Department's Fire Safety Demonstration Trailer
- Face Painting and Spin Art
- Lewisboro Police K-9 Team and Child Safety Seat Inspections
- New York State Police Seatbelt Convincer
- Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps providing Blood Pressure Screenings
- Food and Refreshments
- Ice Cream Truck
