Overnight Accident on Route 35
By 2nd Assistant Chief Avery Scott
October 14, 2011
Just before 1am on Friday, October 14, South Salem firefighters were pulled out of bed for a MVA rollover on Rt. 35 in the area of Four Winds. As Cars 2451 and 2453 were responding, BHFD Car 2031 arrived on scene and reported a single car on its side with both occupants out of the vehicle.
South Salem units arrived on location and assisted the various police units with closing down Rt. 35 between Old Shop Road and providing scene lighting. Due to the precarious nature of the vehicle and all occupants already being out, it was determined that all members stay clear until the tow company could safely remove it.
Both occupants were treated and transported by Lewisboro VAC.
