At 1pm, Thursday, February 16th, South Salem firefighters were alerted to a car into the Cross River Pharmacy, unknown extrication.
As units were responding, a member of LVAC on scene, notified 60 Control that there was a single occupant in the vehicle with no injuries. R-21 and E-167 were first on location and secured the vehicle. Once the car was removed from the store front, firefighters broke out all loose glass in the windows to prevent it from falling and injuring any pedestrians. The scene was taped off and turned over to the building department. South Salem was clear within 40 minutes.
