Route 35 MVA

On Friday morning, January 10th, South Salem firefighters were alerted to a motor vehicle accident on Rt. 35 at Waccabuc River Lane, with one car smoking. Car 2452 arrived on scene and reported a two car MVA with all occupants out of the vehicles and negative fire. R-21 and E-167 arrived on location and took up blocking positions. Crews checked out both vehicles and cleaned up leaking fluids. South Salem was clear within 20 minutes.
