NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

LEGAL NOTICE: In compliance with the Open Meeting Law requiring notification of the date, time, and place of all public meeting of local governments, for publication in the community's interest; this is to advise that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the South Salem Fire District, South Salem, New York, will meet as follows:
NOTICE IS HEARBY GIVEN: That the Board of Fire Commissioners of the South Salem Fire District will hold a public hearing on the proposed adoption of a resolution granting a partial real property tax exemption pursuant to Real Property Tax Law §466-a for the primary residence of volunteer firefighters and volunteer ambulance workers.
The meeting will be held on February 13, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. prior to the regular Board of Commissioners meeting at the office of the Board of Fire Commissioners located at the South Salem firehouse 1190 Route 35, South Salem, N.Y. 10590.
Members of the public may attend in accordance with the Open Meetings Law.
