Clean up for Inspection

For the past few weeks, members of the South Salem Fire Department have been spending more and more of their free time at the Firehouse preparing for the annual Inspection Dinner. Members have spent countless hours cleaning and preparing the apparatus to be judged in our yearly in house competition.
The friendly competition becomes more and more competitive as the Inspection draws near. On the night of the Inspection, selected Chiefs from neighboring departments will go over the apparatus with a fine-toothed comb.
During the dinner, awards will be handed out for Jr. Firefighter of the year and Firefighter of the Year, as well as recognition for some of our long serving members.
